چکیده

31 P NMR nuclear spin singlet order is reported for the first time. Experiments and molecular dynamics simulations indicate that relaxes primarily via chemical shift anisotropy at high magnetic field strengths.

Dependence of nuclear spin singlet lifetimes on RF spin-locking power.

We measure the lifetime of long-lived nuclear spin singlet states as a function of the strength of the RF spin-locking field and present a simple theoretical model that agrees well with our measurements, including the low-RF-power regime. We also measure the lifetime of a long-lived coherence between singlet and triplet states that does not require a spin-locking field for preservation. Our res...

a study on rate making and required reserves determination in reinsurance market: a simulation

reinsurance is widely recognized as an important instrument in the capital management of an insurance company as well as its risk management tool. this thesis is intended to determine premium rates for different types of reinsurance policies. also, given the fact that the reinsurance coverage of every company depends upon its reserves, so different types of reserves and the method of their calc...

Nuclear Magnetic Relaxation in a Spin 1 System

Deuterium nuclear magnetic resonance (HNMR) has become a very valuable tool in the study of the structure and dynamics of anisotropic fluids, especially lipid bilayer model and biological membranes (1,2). Because the deuterium nucleus has spin / = 1, there is a quadrupolar splitting of the nuclear Zeeman resonance line into a doublet whenever the nucleus experiences a non-zero electric field gr...
